Mockable is Mocking Again at Twitter!
Hello boys and girls,
Jeff here, with a quick update on our Twitter situation. As you might know (but probably don’t) our original account was suspended, due to “suspicious activity.” Apparently we violated their Terms of Service. We were following about 1000 people a day, and using a script to unfollow anyone who didn’t follow us back within three days. I think that’s the way it was working.
We were trying to build a large following fast, you see. We weren’t interested in providing value, and allowing it all to happen organically and naturally. That’s for suckers! So, we got our hands slapped, and here we are. We’ve made several appeals for reinstatement, but I guess we really pissed ’em off? The original Twitter page still has the Suspension Owl on it, and apparently that thing isn’t going anywhere.
So, two things…
I’ve started a replacement Twitter account for the Mockable website. Our new username? MoxALot. Pretty clever, huh? Here’s the page. It’s literally minutes old, and we haven’t had a chance to do much with it yet. But we will, and would appreciate a follow. Give the mockers some Twitter love, won’t you?
Also, we’re going to play by the rules this time. We’ve learned our lesson, and will do whatever it takes to keep that freaking owl away from us. God, I hate the owl…
And that’s it. Pretty mockable, I’d say.
Pass them goddamn Funyuns.
